A'Lisa Ozment15 days agoI worked with TJ to design a fence for a small back patio. I wanted horizontal slight with black metal posts. After the date of install was set, I realized the patio was too small to be fully enclosed with wood, and panicked! I emailed TJ to ask if we could change to metal. Luckily, they were able to do so! I now have a beautiful fenced area with horizontal slat at the end that required privacy, with metal sides, allowing for airflow and views. Jamie Bryan27 days agoI’ve been putting off a fence replacement for too long… hoping it would just… fix itself. But after some tree work, it was apparent, I could not wait any longer. I called around to a few places for quotes. TJ at Encore was able to pull up my yard and estimate the job, right then and there. He then came out to verify/measure, and within minutes I had an invoice. Joy & Chris Adkinson53 days agoI don’t usually leave long reviews, but these guys completely earned it. As a former soldier and a disabled vet, I’ll admit I have incredibly high standards. I notice the details, I value discipline, and I don't give out praise unless it’s truly deserved. I just had Encore Fence put up a massive cedar fence on my property here in Salado, and the entire thing is just flawless. Right from the start, you could tell these guys knew exactly what they were doing. What blew me away was their work ethic—it poured rain for two days straight, but the crew didn't slow down for a second. They busted their tails in the mud just to make sure they finished the job exactly when they promised they would. You just don't see that kind of dedication anymore. The supervisors were also out here frequently throughout the project, actively checking in on the crew and making sure everything was running smoothly. They didn't just pack up and leave when the guys finished, either. They did a strict QA/QC walkthrough, checking the posts, the gates, and the alignment to make sure it met their standards before they called it a wrap. The results speak for themselves. The cedar looks beautiful, the fence line is perfectly straight, sturdy, and looks amazing. I’m pretty confident it’s the best-looking fence in my entire neighborhood. William Hazlewood75 days agoJust had a fence replacement (wood privacy) done by Encore Fence. I am extremely happy with the quality, workmanship and speed of construction. They cleaned up well behind themselves. Also, after they initially completed the work, I looked at all the fence and gates and was very satisfied; however, they were not. They came out and replaced a considerable number of pickets that were not up to their standards and reconstructed the double gate to end up with a more durable and aesthetically pleasing result. I give them 5 stars because there aren't more stars to give.Posted on Google

Some contractors do not follow up on the work of their crews. Have built houses for many. Wish I would have found them earlier. They earned my fence business. By the end of the second day the job was complete, the site was clean, and everything was back in place. We were impressed with their professional approach to providing us a quote and with the quality and workmanship of the installation. They arrived on time on the date the told us they would come and quickly installed the fence. They cleaned up the site before leaving and a representative of the company showed up the next day to inspect the crews' work and to check that we were satisfied. Their plan was better than anticipated. Dustin and team on site did a great job keeping us informed of a few issues along the way. James was in constant communication and was patient with our work schedules. Tim and team came out and took the time to talk thru our questions and slight adjustment with no hesitation on an improved path forward. TJ and Rene were updating us throughout the entire project. We had several challenges in our yard (propane lines, pool lines and internet cables) and they were careful and ensured that nothing got damaged along the way. The installers were professional and took a lot of pride in doing great work. They worked great with mixed materials of traditional iron fencing and TREX. The installers arrived on time both days and were extremely detail oriented as they kept me informed of their progress. We were concerned about the speed because having two dogs after we demo'd our existing fence could have caused issues but Encore had our fence up in two days. Great communication with the field superintendent (Tim), he was polite and professional. On 6/24 (today), Tim is QA'ing the crews' work and is making sure that we are satisfied. As most projects go, there were a few challenges along the way, most were created by my specific requests. But to the credit of Josh (the owner), TJ, Solomon and Tim, Encore returned several times to make sure we got what we had hoped for. Each request to correct any issue was met with a sincere effort to fix the concern, in spite of the cost in time, labor and materials. Lena K463 days agoUpdate: immediately after posting this review I was contacted by Encore Fence. They let me know that they want to make things right and take care of it. I was skeptical at first but they came out, assessed the problem and immediately started working on ordering new fence and contacting their supplier. Less than a month later I have a brand new fence- replaced completely for free! I am still in disbelief, definitely did not expect such a great outcome. And this time, all my gates are straight and everything is perfectly aligned. Thank you so much! I love it and I am very pleased. Initial review: This fence has been a disaster from the very beginning. It is not straight and started rusting since the beginning. When I called them back they would just spray paint and do nothing else. This is the state of the fence after 2 years. It is unsafe for my pets and my children. Replacement is necessary. Holly Olsen543 days agoI recently hired Encore Fence in Temple to install a new fence around my backyard, and I am beyond impressed with the entire experience. From the initial consultation to the final installation, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and exceptional customer service. First off, the team was incredibly responsive and provided a detailed estimate that gave me a clear understanding of the costs and options available. They took the time to listen to my needs and offered great advice on materials and design, which I truly appreciated. On installation day, the crew arrived on time and got straight to work. Unfortunately, my neighbor decided to be angry and hostile towards them and even kicked and broke part of the fence! The supervisors remained professional and tried to speak rationally with him, but to no avail. Thus, some changes had to be made. I was told of the options for me, I made the decision, and they accommodated the changes. The poor crew! They were respectful of my property, kept the work area clean, and completed the job the same day anyway! The craftsmanship is top- notch, and the new fence looks amazing. It has completely transformed my yard and added both privacy and curb appeal. And now I don't have to see my unreasonable neighbor! Hooray! Deb Elliott723 days agoI wrote a review a few days ago and blasted Encore Fence. My review issues were legitimate, but in retrospect, I wish I had addressed the issues with Encore Fence prior to posting such negativity. I suppose I expected to find a lack of empathy or willingness to do anything about my complaints. I received a phone call and an email from their manager, Jonny Gonzales, almost immediately after my review was posted. I was not available when he called, but he left a voice mail. He was friendly on his voice message and asked if I would be willing to speak to him about my experience. Honestly, I half anticipated that the call was going to end with a request for me to take down my negative review. That is not what happened. Mr. Gonzalez thanked me for my review and listened patiently, without interruption, as I recounted my experience and how it was different from what I had expected from Encore. He was interested in finding solutions to the problems. I did not ask Mr. Gonzales to redo any work, I did not demand money back, I just expressed my disappointment. At the end of the conversation with Mr. Gonzales, I had a completely different impression of Encore Fence; a positive one. He voluntarily went above and beyond in trying to make things right. He could have just gone through the motions of following up a bad review with an “attempt” to contact me, immediately checking that box off his to-do list. He could have left the ball in my court to call him back, making no further attempts to reach me. He could have been defensive once we communicated, or simply apologized for my negative experience and called it good. There was none of that. He was kind, genuine, and pro-active. At the end of the conversation, I felt like the job Encore Fence did at my place mattered after all. Thank you, Jonny Gonzales; one person can be the difference, and you were it. Barry K849 days agoI called Encore for a quote on a dilapidated, falling down fence at a rental property in Temple. I live 150 miles away so this was all done over the phone. Despite some crazy weather and permit delays (yes, In Temple you need a permit to replace your fence) it was done within a couple of weeks. I checked it out in person a few days ago and it looks great! Encore kept me informed on the schedule, permitting issues and potential delays, then got it all done within a couple of days of their initial estimated completion date and exactly at the original quoted price.Posted on Google
Kimberly Milligan855 days agoI'm not one to leave reviews unless it is a terrible experience, but I had to leave an amazing review for the work they did. We had 2 fences installed that fell after a storm and once we had the permit they were here within days and finished in 2 days. Each day they were only here for 3 hours and only had to wait for concrete to dry. Very efficient in their work of taking down the old and installing the new. It is straight and looks amazing! I could not be more pleased and wish I could leave more than a 5 star review! They even fixed one of our other fences that had some broken boards due to neighbors dogs breaking them as well as our gate. Just replaced them without us asking. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were given a quality job. Including an inspection by a supervisor. I will recommend them to anybody and will be calling them in the future if we need fence work done. Get your fence fixed with them!Posted on Google

Nicole Salinas1402 days agoEncore is absolutely a 5 star company! From the call to have an estimate they were timely and pleasant. I was given an estimate that had my budget in mind. When I called to accept the estimate and schedule, Jessie was able to walk me through everything I needed to know and how to gain a permit. They were out the next day bright and early and ready to work. We had an old chain link fence with mangled trees entangled and they were able to work through it all and remove the fence with no trace. They removed the chain and set post in one day. Day 2 the fence went up no problem. They worked around some obstacles and made sure to give us the best product. Tim, the field manager was there to check progress morning and afternoon. He was accessible to call/text and came by to inspect work when the job was done. He did what he could to make sure the project stayed within our budget and met our needs, swapping out materials and offering us many options to consider. At the time the crew started work on fence removal, they were worried the initial design wouldn’t look good in a section of our yard and called out their supervisor. Tim was happy to come out and make a few changes from the initial design (again offering us multiple options and price points). He stayed until we were happy with the new design and made sure we had the materials needed for the new design before build began the next day. He and his guys were always on the job when they said they would be there, which is a trait that is hard to find lately. I had about 8 ft of iron fencing put in to enclose the side of my yard. I couldn’t be happier with the results. This company has done two different projects for me and my family. First was a privacy fence which the crew worked till dark 2 days in a row to honor their word and it looks amazing. Second was my dog run. These guys told me they’d have it done by the weekend and rain coming on Saturday I thought it was a wash cuz I’d never expect anyone to work like that on a Sunday, but these guys sure showed up and completed the project. The cost of a fence depends upon several factors. The main determining factors consist of what type of fence material is selected, the style of fence being built, what type and how many gates are installed, and, of course, how many linear feet of fence is required. When your backyard backs up against your neighbor’s yard, you’ll want a privacy fence with a height that gives you the most privacy. Usually, this can be accomplished with a 6ft height. But we can do height transitions higher or lower than 6ft in order to give you more privacy or more view depending on your preference.
If your backyard does not back up against a neighbor, but to a green space or pond, our aluminum fence is a popular choice. Your yard may be perfect for a picket fence or a chain link fence if privacy is not a priority.
The land rights may vary in your area. So, it may be necessary to check with your local tax assessor’s office office. However, the ownership of an existing fence is typically the same owner of the land for which the fence is installed upon. We do not conduct any property surveys nor do we imply property lines. If there is an existing fence, you should check with your neighbors to be certain the fence is yours. When there is doubt, it may be necessary to hire a survey company to mark the property lines.
Our pine fencing products are pressure-treated to make them resistant to insects, rot, and damage. However, our cedar fencing is naturally resistant to insects, rot, and decay. Therefore, cedar fences do not usually require pressure treatment.
When fences are installed using pre-fabricated panels, fencing slopes and irregular ground levels can be difficult to properly fence. You will usually get large gaps at the bottom areas and uneven capping.
We do NOT use pre-fabricated fence panels. We build custom fences. Custom fences (or stick-built fences) allow us to better follow the lay-of-the-land (topography) and gives a much smoother transition. We can include custom transitions as an upgrade to your fence installation.
The turnaround time for fence installation depends on several factors such as type of fence, length of fence to be installed, and site conditions. Project time would also be affected by the removal of any existing fence if required. Usually, our installation takes 2 days here in the Central Texas Area. If we’re also removing an old fence, the total time would be 3 to 4 days. Please ask your sales representative for scheduling details.
